Hatha Flow

Hatha-Flow

I like teaching Hatha-Flow because it is dynamic and allows to create creative sequences around specific themes, (chakras, seasons, emotions, etc.) or various body parts in each class. My sequences draw their inspiration from the first series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and classical Hatha Yoga, thereby exposing practitioners to a wider range of asanas. The smooth transition between postures is performed through vinyasas to achieve a continuous flow. Vinyasa refers to connecting the movement with breath. The continuous movement of vinyasa reflects the fluctuation of all forms and the necessity of accepting change to achieve balance and completeness. Vinyasa also means the act of setting an intention and taking steps to reach it.  This helps you to take yoga beyond your practice, off the mat.
Hatha flow energizes your body and calms your mind, balances you both physically and emotionally to leave you feel empowered and invincible.

Modifications are offered to make it suitable for most non-beginner levels. To get the best out of this class however, you should be familiar with the principles of Vinyasa and the Sun Salutations.
